Ryan Khurana

Ryan Khurana is the Lead of Machine Learning and Advanced Analytics at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE), a major sports and entertainment organization based in Toronto, Canada. In this role, he is responsible for leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning technologies to enhance the organization's media production and fan engagement strategies. His work includes co-authoring initiatives that utilize generative AI to streamline content creation processes, allowing for faster and more personalized media delivery to fans.12

Prior to joining MLSE, Khurana served as the Chief of Staff at WOMBO.ai, a company specializing in generative AI applications. His responsibilities there included working closely with the CEO on operational, legal, and financial matters.23 Before that, he was an Analytics Program Manager at CBRE, where he developed AI programs that were crucial during the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly in managing logistics for long-term care homes in Ontario.2

Khurana holds a Master of Management Analytics from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and a Bachelor's degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Manchester. Born in Toronto in 1996, he continues to reside there.23
