Ryan DeVore

Ryan DeVore is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in community development and executive management.

Currently holding the position of Assistant City Manager at the City of Roseville, Ryan oversees various departments including Development Services, Public Works, Roseville Electric, and Environmental Utilities.

Ryan aspires to become a City Manager and is committed to continuous learning, holding a degree in Civil Engineering, certificates in Management and Leadership, and an MBA.

He has served as the Past-President of MMANC, a prominent local government management organization in Northern California with a large professional membership base.

His specialties include Executive Management, Project Management, Business Development, Culture Change, Organizational Development, and Mentoring.

Ryan's educational background includes a BS in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, an MBA in Executive Management from California State University-Sacramento, and certificates in Management and Leadership from City University.

Additionally, he has pursued further education in Government Management and Leadership from the Municipal Management Association of Northern California and in Local Governance and Public Policy from Stanford University.

Throughout his career, Ryan has held key roles such as Director of Community Development, Chief Building Official, and Senior Engineer at the City of Sacramento.

He has also been involved in organizations like the Urban Land Institute as a YLG Board Member and has experience in private sector engineering firms as CEO/Owner of DeVore Design Group, Assistant Engineer at T.Y. Lin International, and Staff Engineer at Psomas.
