Ryan Cheek

Ryan Cheek is a driven and passionate individual focused on the health and impact of Lake Retreat, a new school agency based in Portland, Oregon. Ryan is dedicated to partnering with clients to find innovative solutions to their needs, and his past experiences have provided him with a unique insight into business administration, brand marketing, and account executive work. Ryan's educational background is in business administration, with a degree from Azusa Pacific University and an MBA in the same field. Before co-founding Lake Retreat, Ryan worked at Juliet Zulu as the Director of Strategy and Brand Marketing, MINTBANDS™ as a Partner and CMO, Nike as an Account Executive - NW Soccer, and Nike as a Brand Marketing Specialist. Ryan's career path has given him a wide range of experience that he brings to each project at Lake Retreat. Ryan's distinct philosophy is best characterized by Bill Bowerman's words: "There's no such thing as bad weather, just soft people."
