Ryan Brown

Ryan Brown is a seasoned professional who has recently relocated to Nashville after a decade in major cities like NYC, Miami, and LA. He currently holds the role of Director of Strategic Partnerships at AdCritter, a fast-growing Ad Tech startup, where his main focus is on accelerating growth and transitioning to scale by establishing partnerships with SaaS companies catering to small businesses across the US.

In addition to his current role, Ryan is deeply involved in over 12 startups where he has invested in and provides advisory services. He played a crucial part in the acquisition of LQD WiFi by Verizon in 2016, a startup in the IoT/Smart City sector where he served as a Co-Founder, focusing on fundraising, strategic alliances, and city partnerships.

Ryan's professional journey shifted from real estate and education to media, where he co-created a renowned web-series showcasing Generation Y social entrepreneurs, educators, and activists in the Americas. His work attracted sponsorships from brands like Timberland and partnerships with major media outlets such as Participant Media and Huffington Post. His passion lies in connecting impactful individuals and fostering entrepreneurial communities like Kalu Yala and Global Citizen Festival.

He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish/Communications from Belmont University and has studied at THNK School of Creative Leadership in Lisbon.

Ryan's professional roles have varied from being the Director of Operations at GRA LLC, Director of Citizenry at Kalu Yala, to his current position at AdCritter. He has also held advisory and investor positions at companies like Persona Music, Circuit, and Hurdl Inc. Additionally, he has experience in business development, strategic partnerships, and community building within organizations like The Millennial Trains Project and The Global Poverty Project.
