Ryan Brewster is a dedicated fourth-year MD candidate at Stanford University School of Medicine, with a keen interest in pediatric cardiology and hematology/oncology. He is committed to leveraging technology and entrepreneurship to address health inequities.

Currently, Ryan is actively engaged in research at the Bhatt Laboratory, focusing on the correlation between the gut microbiome and cardiometabolic health in South Africa.

As a Schweitzer Fellow associated with the Stanford Pediatrics Advocacy Program, Ryan is deeply involved in advocating for pediatric healthcare needs.

In addition to his medical pursuits, Ryan is also a part of various innovative medical technology ventures encompassing pediatric cardiology, neonatology, digital pathology, and women's health.

Beyond his medical and research commitments, Ryan is a talented graphic designer and illustrator. His artwork has graced esteemed scientific publications such as Nature and Cell.

Ryan pursued his undergraduate studies at Middlebury College, attaining a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry and Spanish.

His educational journey includes completing Stanford Ignite at the Graduate School of Business, enriching his knowledge beyond the medical realm.
