Dr. Alexandra Keir is a dedicated first-year resident physician specializing in pediatrics at the prestigious Boston Combined Residency Program, split between Boston Children's Hospital and Boston Medical Center. With a focus on clinical pediatric hematology-oncology, Dr. Keir has actively engaged in pediatric hematology-oncology research, global health initiatives, and advocacy for disability and chronic illness. She graduated from the renowned UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine as a merit scholar. Prior to her medical studies, she contributed significantly as a curriculum planner and course assistant for the Master's program in Global Health Sciences at UCSF. As a three-time cancer survivor, Dr. Keir has a distinct perspective and interest in cancer research and advocacy, spanning both pediatric and adult oncology settings nationally and internationally. Besides her medical pursuits, Dr. Keir's educational background includes a B.S. in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from UCLA, where she also minored in English literature, showcasing her passion for writing and reading.
