Russ Middleton

Russ Middleton is a seasoned entrepreneur and the Chief Operating Officer at Smartlink, a Smart City technology company, which he co-founded in 2016. He spearheaded a city-wide free wifi campaign in Newport, Kentucky, leading to a successful community project that garnered global recognition.

Middleton's role at Smartlink has evolved over the years, encompassing areas such as Business Development, Research & Development, Hardware Engineering, Project Management, Kiosk Support, and UI/UX for Software. His diverse skill set has been instrumental in the company's growth and success.

Prior to Smartlink, Middleton demonstrated a strong work ethic and leadership skills as a college basketball player at Georgetown College, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Pre-Med and was part of a National Championship-winning team. He also excelled academically and athletically in high school, winning a state championship.

Today, Middleton and Smartlink cater to various industries, offering innovative solutions to Municipalities, REITS, Entertainment Centers, and Shopping Centers across the United States. Their focus on Data Analytics, Revenue Generation, and Enhanced Customer Experience has propelled them to prominence in mixed-use communities nationwide.
