Russ Gershon is a Grammy-nominated musician with decades of experience in composing, arranging, and performing. He has won five Boston Music Awards and is an internationally touring bandleader. Russ is also a professor of music history, a music writer, and an all-around music lover. He studied philosophy at Harvard University and music composition at Tufts University, in addition to studying harmony, arranging, and saxophone at Berklee College of Music. Russ has been the artistic director of Either/Orchestra and played various instruments and arrangements in other bands like Lookie Lookie and Agachko. He was also the former president of Accurate Records and an adjunct professor of music at Lasell College.
