Ruihua Wang

Ruihua Wang is a dual-qualified lawyer with extensive experience in both China and the UK. She currently serves as a Senior In-House Lawyer at Tradeweb, a position she has held since June 2017. Prior to this role, she trained and worked for six years at a leading international law firm, Linklaters, where she gained significant expertise in commercial law.

Wang's legal career began in China, where she studied Chinese Law at Fudan University. After relocating to the UK, she faced challenges in establishing her legal career, including the need to requalify as a solicitor. Her journey involved significant networking and adaptability, which ultimately led her to in-house legal work. At Tradeweb, she enjoys a diverse range of responsibilities, including managing transactions, advising on legal risks, and negotiating contracts.123

In addition to her legal practice, Wang is actively involved in community initiatives. She is the vice-chair of the UK Society of Chinese Lawyers and participates in outreach programs aimed at supporting ethnic minority law students and junior lawyers.1
