He has worked for prestigious corporations such as Telefonica, Nielsen, and Huawei, as well as strategy advisory boutique Marakon. Ruben is an expert in managing complex change programs, developing high-performance teams, and generating consensus among multiple stakeholders. He has a strong ability to identify business opportunities and create optimal conditions for developing new projects and businesses.

Ruben is an economist with an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, a Master in Finance from Universidad del CEMA, and a PhD in Innovation & Strategy from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Additionally, he studied strategy & innovation at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Throughout his career, Ruben has held various leadership positions. He was the Director of Strategy & New Business at Huawei Technologies, Vice President - Telecom Group at The Nielsen Company, Director of eBusiness, and VP Sales & Marketing at Telefónica Empresas.
