Rosina Samadani

Rosina Samadani is the CEO of Oculogica, a medical device company specializing in non-invasive and fast diagnostics for concussions and Traumatic Brain Injuries.

With 24 years of experience in healthcare and technology, Rosina is a McKinsey and MIT alum who has been instrumental in raising over $11M in funding for Oculogica.

She has conducted FDA interactions, secured funding from various entities like the Department of Defense, NIH, and FDA grants, and established key relationships with research centers and government bodies.

Rosina holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University, along with BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.

Her contributions have been recognized through awards like the Luis Villalobos Award for Innovative Startup and the NIMBLE Health Vanguard Award for entrepreneurship in healthcare. She was also named among the Fast Company Most Creative People in Business in 2020.

Prior to Oculogica, Rosina spent 7 years at McKinsey and Company, focusing on healthcare projects including clinical development and product marketing.

She has been actively involved in various organizations, serving as a President and CEO at Oculogica, a Judge in healthcare sector at StartX, a Judge at MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition, and on the Board of Trustees at Wayland Academy. She has also held advisory and leadership roles in companies like DocNews, Truth On Call, and Capella Advisors.
