I was hired to the District as a result of an embezzlement and had the responsibility of evaluating, recommending and implementing process improvements and controls to the areas of Finance, Human Resources and IT.

• Managed the day-to-day financial and administrative functions of the District including accounting and finance, payroll, human resources, information technology, and administrative services 
• Facilitated and maintained the District’s annual budget and mid-year review / forecast
• Responsible for coordinating and completing the District’s annual financial audit

• Accomplishments: Implemented internal control processes for all finance programs which passed independent audit review. Revamped the District’s comprehensive budget packet, created a mid-year review/forecast, and new financial reporting package for the District’s Board of Trustees.  I was integral in the development of new financial policies and revision of existing polices.  Developed Purchase Order and Request for Proposal protocols that follow District’s financial policies.  Successfully, redesigned the District's Credit Card and Gas Card programs.

• Managed worldwide revenue transfer program of approximately $50 million in transfers per month, including managing staff in Bangalore, India and Raleigh, NC

• Managed monthly close process for SnapTrack subsidiary (included reviewing journal entries, inter-company transactions as well as inter-company reconciliations, consolidated balance sheet reconciliations, month end reporting and quarterly audit schedules)

Accomplishments:
• Assisted Corporate Real Estate division with a pilot program (at our Northern California regional office), where we automated the monthly facility allocation and quarterly forecast. As the pilot proved successful for our office, it was rolled out to other US Qualcomm regional offices.
