Rose S. Shuman

Rose S. Shuman is a recognized global strategy, operations, and technical team leader with over 15 years of experience in AI/ML, blockchain, data, and software.

She is the founder of a strategic technical initiatives consulting firm catering to the United Nations and related clients, as well as a global nonprofit that provides information services with teams in the US, India, and Uganda.

Her expertise lies in mainstreaming new technologies into existing operations, leading operations, strategy, product and partnership initiatives in areas like AI, data, blockchain, IT, and economic development across government, nonprofit, and social sectors.

Rose has a track record of leadership roles and has been involved in various organizations including SameSame, United Nations, Generative AI Projects, BrightFront Group, TED Conferences, European Commission, Hyperledger Foundation, Open Mind - Question Box, AdLens, Adaptive Eyewear, Direct Relief International, and Asociacion ANDAR, Project Concern, UNHCR, CEDIF.

She has contributed significantly in the realm of social, environmental, and regulatory policy risk mitigation, facilitation, and public presentation, in addition to advising on global AI and data strategy and serving on multiple World Economic Forum working groups.

Her educational background includes MA in International/Global Studies, BA in International Relations, Honors, and a BA in Visual Arts, all from Brown University, as well as studies at Holton-Arms School.
