Roman Știrbu

Roman Știrbu is the CEO of SIMPALS, a prominent company in Moldova's IT sector, where he has served since August 2003. Under his leadership, SIMPALS has developed a portfolio of over 20 online platforms, including some of the most visited websites in Moldova.1

Background and Education

Roman holds a degree in International Economics from the Academia de Studii Economice din Moldova (1997-2002) and has pursued multiple master's degrees in fields such as Marketing, Game and Interactive Media Design, and Product Management from various institutions including Qmarketingacademy and Skillbox.1 He is also a Certified ScrumMaster, which indicates his expertise in agile project management methodologies.1

Professional Experience

In addition to his role at SIMPALS, Roman is a member of the Board of Directors for the Association of Information and Communication Technology Companies (ATIC) since March 2019, where he contributes to promoting the development of Moldova's ICT sector.1 He is also involved with the Moldova IT Park, which aims to enhance regional competitiveness and support innovation within the IT industry.1
