Roger Tucker is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Africa Oil Corp., a position he assumed in July 2023.12 He brings over three decades of experience as a senior executive in the global energy sector.345

Tucker has held leadership roles in companies ranging from multinational majors to independent E&P firms and private equity-backed entities.34 His experience includes:

• Managing significant development projects, including one of the world's largest field redevelopment projects in Venezuela34
• Serving as Senior Vice President Europe for BG Group, overseeing a business producing 150,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day with a $2 billion annual budget34
• Sitting on the Regional Executive and Investment Committees at BG Group covering operations in the Americas, Europe, Central Asia, and Brazil34
• Roles as CEO of African Arabian Petroleum Ltd, Latitude Energy, and Managing Director of Yukos Oil2

Tucker holds a PhD in Sedimentology & Geochemistry and a BSc in Geology from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.34 He previously served as Non-Executive Chairman of Viaro Energy and is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director at PetroTal Corp.26
