Rod Wedemeier

Rod Wedemeier is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources (CHRO) at Mohawk Industries, a global flooring manufacturer with over $11 billion in sales, operations in 19 countries, and more than 40,000 employees.1 He has over 27 years of experience in human resources across several industries.1

Wedemeier joined Mohawk in 2016 as Vice President of Human Resources for Dal Tile, the company's North American ceramic business.1 In 2018, he became the HR leader for Flooring North America, Mohawk's largest segment.1 He was promoted to his current role as Senior Vice President in 2020.1

In his current position, Wedemeier has continued Mohawk's innovative approach to healthcare, partnering with Cigna to operate onsite clinics focused on population health.1 He has also been recognized for his efforts in employing veterans, with Mohawk ranking 147 on Forbes' America's Best Employers for Veterans 2021 list.2
