Rod Lamirand

Rod Lamirand is an accomplished high school/middle school English teacher based in British Columbia, Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, a Master's of Education in Educational Leadership, and multiple teaching certificates, including International Baccalaureate training. With 18 years of experience in the BC curriculum, Rod has also taught in various international locations such as Muscat, Oman; Hsinchu, Taiwan; Bucharest, Romania; and Jakarta, Indonesia. Currently, he is working on his second book while exploring opportunities for engaging in overseas educational endeavors.

Rod's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Simon Fraser University, a Master's in Education with a focus on Management and Leadership, as well as additional certification from the BC College of Teachers and the University of Southern Queensland.

Throughout his career, Rod Lamirand has been associated with several notable educational institutions and positions, including roles such as Middle School Teacher at School District #87 Stikine, Senior English Teacher/Department Head at American Int'l School of Bucharest, and Head of English at the American International School of Bucharest. He has also served as Senior English Teacher at various schools like Frank Hurt Secondary, Princess Margaret Secondary, Muscat Private School, and Johnston Heights Secondary School.

Rod is known for his diverse teaching experiences, leadership roles within educational settings, and his passion for English literature and language. As a writer and author, he is currently self-employed and is deeply engaged in his second book project.
