    Mr. Padberg also demonstrated his negotiation and consulting expertise as an independent consultant from 2012 to 2013, where he took on the critical task of structuring and negotiating the terms for the sale of the historic Hôtel Villa Créole in Haiti. This high-stakes endeavor highlighted his ability to navigate complex business landscapes with a skillful approach.

    Notably, Mr. Padberg was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Communication Cellulaire d’Haïti S.A. (ComCEL), Haiti’s leading mobile telecommunications provider, owned by Trilogy International Partners. Under his leadership, the company, operating as Voilà, successfully grew and expanded until its sale to the Digicel Group in 2012. He joined ComCEL as Chief Commercial Officer in 2007 and rapidly ascended to the role of CEO in February 2008, showcasing not just his operational acumen but also his capability in leading substantial organizations through transformative periods.

    His interest in supporting Haiti's growth and engagement within the global community is further exemplified by his appointment as Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in November 2005, a position he held until his promotion to Honorary Consul General in 2014.
