Robert L. Strauss

Robert Strauss is an accomplished rooftop gardener and consultant, based in Barcelona's Gracia neighborhood. He holds an MA in International Economics from Stanford University Food Research Institute, an MBA in General Management from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and a B.A. in Russian & Economics from Haverford College. Over the years, he has lived and studied in various countries, including Russia, where he studied language and literature at Leningrad State University named after A.S. Pushkin. With over years of experience working with diverse organizations, Robert has developed a remarkable background. He is the Founder and Chief Gardener at The Farmer on the Roof, where he grows organic fruits and vegetables. Similarly, he is a former Creative Consultant at Ambatovy, former Managing Director at RNA Associates, and former Country Director at Peace Corps, among others. Additionally, he has experience in writing, film making, consulting, recruiting, and volunteer work.
