Robert Rutter is the Head of Digital Marketing and Engagement at The Royal Society, a position he has held since July 2021.1 He manages the Royal Society's digital team, delivering all of the Society's digital products and services as the UK's national academy of science.1 Rutter is responsible for developing the Society's strategic approach, marketing, practical application, and cultural adoption of digital communications.1

He held positions at Square Enix, including Global Brand Marketing Manager from June 2013 to December 2015, where he was responsible for global brand marketing of AAA videogame titles.1 He also worked at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe as a European Product Manager from April 2007 to May 2010.1
