Robert Johnson-Perkins

Robert Johnson-Perkins is a seasoned technology professional with over 20 years of experience in investment banking, specializing in Fixed Income and other areas such as Equities, Prime Services, and Risk Management. He has managed global teams across Europe, the US, and Asia, and possesses an in-depth knowledge of Price Discovery, Distribution, Electronic Trading, and Risk, among other areas. He is also capable of historical analysis and relative value, and has a proven track record of delivering against aggressive time-frames. Some of his notable achievements include the large scale integration of the ex-Lehman Brothers businesses into Nomura, where he held the position of Director, Fixed Income Pricing, and Director, Head of Rates Technology, EMEA. He is currently the Head of Front Office IT, Managing Director at Mizuho International. Johnson-Perkins has an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the University of Kent and a strong technical background, allowing him to interact with teams at all stages of the development process. He has held both regional and global roles and possesses an entrepreneurial approach to technology, building close relationships with the business to establish quick deliveries and a clear sense of business ownership.
