Rob Schenk: Chief Security Officer and Co-Founder of Intelligent Technical Solutions

Rob Schenk is the Chief Security Officer and co-founder of Intelligent Technical Solutions (ITS), a leading IT consultancy in the San Francisco Bay Area.1 He helps craft corporate strategies, develops company culture, nurtures the leadership team, and creates memorable experiences for both the ITS team and their clients.1

Rob has over two decades of experience in the IT industry, starting as a network engineer and technical writer during the Dot Com boom.1 He co-founded the IT consultancy LanXpert (later rebranded as Intivix) in 1996, which later partnered with ITS.1 Throughout his career, Rob has helped small to midsize businesses in the Bay Area become more secure, efficient, scalable, and profitable.1

As Chief Security Officer, Rob is responsible for educating ITS's client base on the importance of cultivating a security-first mindset and empowering businesses to protect their data.1 He has been described as having a zen-like calm even in difficult situations, and his mindful leadership style has helped him rally talented and highly-skilled people around him.1

Rob is also an active member of the East Bay ICT, a non-profit organization that brings business leaders, schools, and other industries together to prepare students for careers in the technology industry.1 In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, practicing martial arts (Aikido), playing guitar, and cultivating his mindful meditation discipline.1
