Rob Gilmour is a seasoned public affairs professional with over two decades of experience in campaign leadership, stakeholder management, communications, events, fundraising, and public relations. He served in senior roles for two progressive conservative governments at the provincial and federal levels and has a proven track record of organizing successful campaigns and political conventions.

Rob is currently the Vice President of Government Relations, Ontario at Counsel Public Affairs Inc., where he leverages his expertise to help clients navigate complex public policy issues. In his previous role as the Deputy Executive Director at PC Caucus Services, Rob managed research, outreach, and political affairs for the Ontario PC Government Caucus at Queen’s Park.

Rob's diverse professional background includes stints as the Executive Director of The Association of Canadian Disability Benefit Professionals, National Director of Special Projects at The National Benefit Authority, and Principal Consultant at Profile Public Affairs Inc. He also worked as the Senior Vice President at The Daisy Group, Vice President of Marketing Partnerships and Public Affairs at Student CarShare, Senior Consultant at Hill+Knowlton Strategies, and Manager of Sponsorship and Fundraising at Ontario Bar Association.

Apart from this, Rob is a co-author of a political fundraising manual, a proficient GOTV campaign day chair, and has extensive experience running war rooms. Rob is a graduate of Brock University, where he served as the elected president of the student council. He has a degree in English Literature and grew up on a turkey farm in the Niagara Region.
