Risa Sherman

Risa Sherman is a Freelance Social Impact Consultant currently associated with Carol Cone ON PURPOSE. She has a distinguished career in social impact, focusing on transforming innovative ideas into practical and scalable solutions. Risa has over 30 years of experience helping brands, companies, and nonprofits define their values and create programs that achieve measurable social impact. Her expertise includes developing social impact programs, fostering cross-sector partnerships, engaging stakeholders, and facilitating discussions among C-Suite leaders to advance social goals.123

Before her current role, Risa was the Director of Babson College's Youth Impact Lab at the Lewis Institute for Social Innovation. She also served as the Social Impact Lead at The Boston Beer Company, where she directed social impact strategy and programming, including the creation of a company-wide social responsibility framework. Additionally, she played a significant role in scaling Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream, a philanthropic initiative supporting underserved entrepreneurs.1
