Rick Cox is a seasoned professional guitarist with over fifty-five years of experience in the music industry.

His musical journey began at a young age, performing in public at 10 and later serving in the U.S. Navy Music Program as a staff guitarist, conductor, and assistant band director.

Rick has showcased his guitar skills across Europe, Africa, South America, Canada, and the United States, playing classical, contemporary, and jazz music.

He has represented the United States at prestigious State Department events, entertaining Presidents, dignitaries, and guests from around the world.

Post his service in the U.S. Navy, Rick founded The Spirit Ridge Group, Inc., overseeing business operations while maintaining an active schedule as a musician, focusing on recording, teaching, and curriculum development.

Rick's educational background includes advanced degrees from various institutions like The University of the State of New York, Regents/Excelsior College, and the U.S. Navy School of Music.

He is deeply involved with the Royal Conservatory of Music, holding positions as a Founding Teacher of the Music Certificate Program, a Certified Teacher, and a Presiding Officer for Assessments and Examinations.

As a dedicated teacher, Rick emphasizes the role of music in human development and strives to instill a sense of commitment to excellence in his students.
