Richard Cox, known as Rick, is a seasoned professional guitarist with over fifty-five years of experience in the music industry.

Starting his musical journey at a young age, Rick's talent led him to serve as a staff guitarist, conductor, and assistant band director in the U.S. Navy Music Program.

Rick has showcased his guitar artistry in various continents including Europe, Africa, South America, Canada, and the United States, entertaining audiences with classical, contemporary, and jazz music styles.

His exceptional skills have granted him the honor of representing the United States at official State Department diplomatic events, performing in front of Presidents, dignitaries, and guests from around the world.

Post his retirement from the U.S. Navy Music Program, Rick established The Spirit Ridge Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries, where he manages business operations alongside his active involvement as a musician in recording, teaching, and curriculum development.

With advanced degrees from reputable institutions like The University of the State of New York, Regents/Excelsior College, and the U.S. Navy School of Music, Rick's expertise is further highlighted by his role as a Founding Teacher of the Royal Conservatory's Music Certificate Program.

Rick, a dedicated teacher, strongly believes in the transformative power of music education in shaping human development and fostering a commitment to excellence in his students.
