Rick Cowan is an accomplished and results-driven executive manager with extensive experience in information systems and technology. He possesses a proven track record of integrating business and technology solutions to optimize growth and corporate bottom line. He is a strategic and market-driven professional with demonstrated abilities in team management, business improvement, change management, and project management.

Rick studied Bachelor's degree, Computer Science at the University of Maine, where he gained his technical knowledge. He worked in various executive positions in industries such as healthcare, textiles and consulting, which have granted him a deep understanding of different markets, regulatory environments and organizational resources.

Rick's core competencies include strategic planning, leadership, communication, collaboration, project management, and execution/delivery. He is skilled in developing a compelling vision for building organizational success through knowledge of the enterprise mission and goals, leveraging investments in IT and other organizational resources, and fostering adaptive change and flexibility among all members of an organization. He is politically savvy with an ability to establish productive partnerships with internal and external colleagues, executives, and governance committees, balancing company business objectives.

Rick's passion for technology and its ability to drive business success has made him a Vice President of Information Systems - Infrastructure at EMHS. Prior to this, he worked as an independent IS/IT consultant, Enterprise Infrastructure Architect, Chief Technology Officer and Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Duvaltex, True Textiles, and InterfaceFABRIC, respectively.
