Rick Coffey is a seasoned professional with an extensive background in private equity and venture capital investment, corporate finance, product marketing, and the management of entrepreneurial companies. With over 30 years of experience, Rick has managed allocations exceeding $1.7 billion to various types of private equity investments.

Rick is the Founder of Private Equity Connections, where he provides valuable fundraising advice to small and mid-market private equity funds. His expertise extends to private equity fund investment, portfolio construction, and co-investments, catering predominantly to small institutions, high net worth individuals, and family offices.

Rick Coffey holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. He also pursued a degree in History and received a Certificate in History and Philosophy of Science from Princeton University.

Throughout his career, Rick has held significant roles such as Managing Director at Thomas Capital Group, Vice President of Corporate Development at Delphi Health Systems, Inc., and Director of Private Investments at the Public School Employees' Retirement System. He has also been involved with Synchrony/Tandem Investments.
