Unite Equity Muses | Cultivate equity meta-governance: co-create a fair-free-flourishing future on a regenerating planet to benefit all.

I owe my lifelong interest in equity, the virtue of fairness, to my working-class mother: the heroine of my story. She was an extraordinary, ordinary woman, who taught me everything about the meaning of equity, without ever mentioning that word. I think about my deceased mother almost daily, as a gratitude practice. She enabled me to address my dyslexia, work around the British educational apartheid system of 11+ plus exam, and become a doctor, author, and professor.

How might we cultivate a transformational learning movement for equity? This noble cause calls for developing equity muses, a new change agent archetype: part holy fool, jester, magician, and heretic. As Socratic sherpas, we ask complex questions to inspire curiosity, imagination, innovation and entrepreneurship for cultivating equity meta-governance: co-create fair rules, fair play, fair games to assure fair opportunities and fair rewards for well-being of all and the health of the planet.

We use complex questions to empower learning about how to think critically and to think how we think (meta-cognition) and to develop cultural, moral and ethical humility (learning about the purpose of thinking)?

How might we, as equity leaders, mentors, muses, mavens, and learning designers, ask complex questions that empower and mobilize people to:

  1. Generate fusion energy and "mycelia" network power for equity meta-governance?
  2. Disseminate the meme: to Love, equity, and the pursuit of truth-seeking?
  3. Implement this simple rule: be fair and kind to all people, the planet, the environment, nature, biodiversity, animals, the soil, and plants?
  4. Enhance the collaborative functioning of our political-public-private sectors to solve our complex entanglement of self-inflicted wicked problems in the 21st century?
  5. Build launching pads for Equity Moonshot: co-design and build an equitable-regenerative-sustainable-future?

How might we, as equity learners, collaborate to:

  1. Become open-minded, truth-seeking, virtuous free-thinkers together?
  2. Open-inspire-align our mindsets to co-create a fair-free-flourishing future?
  3. Cultivate cultural, moral and ethical humility for transformational change?
  4. Develop self-awareness, emotional self-understanding, self-regulation, empathy, equanimity & ethical discernment?
  5. Do good for the commons, humanity, the common goods, the well-being of all life, & the health of the planet?
