David Orr

David Orr is an accomplished writer, professor, and environmental activist. He was born in 1944 in New York and studied at Antioch College and the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his PhD. He is currently the Paul Sears Distinguished Professor of Environmental Studies and Politics at Oberlin College, and has previously taught at Yale and Cornell. Orr has authored several books on environmentalism and sustainability, including "Earth in Mind" and "Hope is an Imperative." He has also served on several advisory boards and taught workshops on ecological design and environmental ethics. Orr advocates for sustainable practices in both personal and professional life, seeking to bring awareness to the critical environmental issues facing our planet.
