    Rick Antonson is a travel writer, historian, and former tourism executive born in Vancouver in 1949.1 He attended Simon Fraser University and began his career in publishing, founding Antonson Publishing and Nunaga Publishing in the early 1970s.1 Antonson later served as Vice-President and general manager of Douglas & McIntyre and President & CEO of Tourism Vancouver.1
