Richard Ström is a seasoned business development and sales professional with over 15 years of experience in various industries such as Communications, Tech, Digital, and Social. He has a strong track record of excelling in undefined roles and growing new markets in Europe from scratch, including the UK, France, Germany, Benelux, and Nordics. Richard is passionate about roles that require self-starters and high levels of human interaction, leading him to thrive in his career as Head of Nordics at Khoros.
Richard gained his education through Manchester Business School and Emory University's Goizueta Business School where he studied BSc in International Management with American Business Studies and BBA Business, respectively. He has worked with established companies such as Khoros, Bazaarvoice, Purple Matrix, and SonyEricsson through HiQ, and Acquired by Aepona at Appium AB.
Throughout his successful career journey, he has held various management and executive-level positions responsible for establishing and implementing strategic plans leading to a company's growth and expansion. Richard's expertise includes market development, business development, sales management, social media management, customer experience, account management among others.
