Richard Southwell is a highly experienced and dedicated security professional with over 13 years of experience working for a variety of leading security companies. Throughout his career, Southwell has developed a versatile skill set that encompasses several areas of expert knowledge. He's well-versed in penetration testing, including ITHC, Mobile, web application, web services, Infrastructure, build and design review, social engineering, phishing, physical site assessment, IoT, and mobile. Additionally, Southwell is skilled in Red Team (CSTAR), Blue, and Purple. He has experience in PCI DSS (QSA, ASV), ISO27001/9001, and incident response & digital forensics. Southwell takes pride in his capability to work on cybersecurity transformation projects like developing Cyber Defence Centre, software development lifecycle, and managed services.

Southwell's professional journey began with GovNet Communications, where he worked as a Sales Consultant & Interim Sales Manager. He gained knowledge and experience working in the fitness industry as well, where he worked as a Sales Consultant & Interim Sales Manager at Fitness First UK. At NCC Group PLC, he served as an Account Manager, Senior Account and Team Manager, and Business Development Manager. Later, he joined Portcullis Computer Security Ltd (now part of Cisco) and worked as a Key Account Manager. After that, he served ProCheckUp Ltd as a Key Account Manager and later became the Head of Sales. Southwell was also an essential part of Mandiant as a Consulting Manager. Currently, he holds the position of Sales Director at ProCheckUp.
