Matt Scheurer

Matt Scheurer is a well-known Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) professional with over twenty years of experience in Information Technology and Information Security. He has an extensive educational background, completing his studies at Mansfield Senior High School, North Central State College, and The Ohio State University.

Matt's expertise lies in Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR). He serves as a Security Director for the Cincinnati Networking Professionals Association (CiNPA) and was awarded the 2019 comSpark “Rising Tech Stars Award”. He is also an active member of professional organizations such as the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), and InfraGard.

Throughout his career, Matt has held various positions that have contributed to his experience and knowledge in the field. He currently serves as a Principal Security Engineer at an undisclosed company. Previously, he was a Systems Security Engineer III at First Financial Bank, a Systems Administrator at London Computer Systems, Streamline Health, and StoneRiver.

Matt has a passion for educating and sharing his expertise on Information Security topics. He has presented at numerous local area technology groups and large Information Security conferences across the country.
