Richard Henwood is a seasoned Chartered Engineer and published author with expertise in machine learning, physics, statistics, latency, and data science. He excels in leading teams focused on the future of software engineering, high performance computing, distributed systems, and artificial intelligence.

With a Master of Science in Astrophysics from the University of Warwick and a Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Bristol, Richard brings a strong academic background to his professional endeavors.

Having held key roles at prestigious organizations such as NASA, Arm, Intel Corporation, and more, Richard has amassed a wealth of experience as a Senior Software Engineer, HPC Cloud Team Lead, Senior Architect, and Engineering Program Management.

His diverse career includes contributions to projects at NASA Ames Research Center, freelance software supply-chain consulting, technical leadership at Gradient.tech, and teaching as an Adjunct Professor at Austin Community College.
