Richard Anson
Entrepreneur, advisor, strategist and teacher
Richard Anson is a seasoned entrepreneur, investor, and lecturer with over 20 years of experience in building early-stage businesses and working with corporates, especially in the technology, media, and telecoms sector. He holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management and a PhD from the prestigious University of Bristol.
Richard co-founded and led Reevoo, a leading user-generated content platform that served over 300 brands across diverse industries such as retail, travel, automotive, and financial services. He also held senior positions at KPMG, Orange, and 3i Group, managing investments of up to £5 million.
At present, Richard is the Strategy Director and Entrepreneur in Residence at True, a pioneering UK-based retail and consumer investment firm specializing in digital technology and changing consumer behavior. He is also the Academic Lead at Conception X, where he creates deep tech startups from leading PhD programs. Additionally, he is a Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at UCL School of Management.
