Richard Anderson
Richard Anderson, an expert in human-centered design thinking, is committed to solving social and environmental issues through his work. With a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Iowa State University and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Anderson brings a unique perspective to his projects. He has held multiple leadership positions worldwide, including as the Principal of OE Strategy and the Digital Agenda Leader at Viant Business Innovation, among others. Anderson is passionate about social responsibility of businesses, ending homelessness, increasing inclusivity in the workplace, and enacting systems change. He has taught courses at the Austin Center for Design and General Assembly in design and activism, giving talks and leading workshops that promote his values. Anderson has also organized events for Stanford Medicine X and participated in professional and cultural events.
