Rhett Weiss

Rhett Weiss is the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of DEALTEK, Ltd., a consulting firm he established in 1999. DEALTEK specializes in acquisition, development, expansion, and location strategies for various types of facilities such as headquarters, data centers, and manufacturing plants. Rhett Weiss has extensive experience negotiating deals for a wide range of companies, including Global 500 and Fortune 500 firms, as well as start-ups and scale-ups. His work has involved advising on domestic and cross-border initiatives with capital investments totaling over $40 billion.12

Before founding DEALTEK, Rhett held significant roles at major companies like Google and Amazon, where he was responsible for acquiring and developing strategic data center assets globally. He also served as Chief Operations Officer at a bank and directed a corporate consulting practice at a Big 4 firm.1

Rhett holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Tulane University, a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the College of William and Mary, and an Executive MBA-level Certificate in International Business from Georgetown University. He is licensed to practice law in Virginia, Washington D.C., and New York, and holds a real estate license in Virginia.1

In addition to his professional achievements, Rhett has been active in academia, teaching entrepreneurship and innovation courses at Cornell University and Syracuse University. He has also authored several articles and co-authored books on entrepreneurship.1
