Lead for the retail department start-up within Riksja Travel (and Erlebe Fernreisen in Germany). We offered our specialized, individual roundtrips to the retail via an online tool (the Travel Planner) via which an agent could dynamically build up the trips based on the customer demand. During the corona crisis (which ended the start-up): point of contact for ANVR/EU and insurance terms and conditions and regulations concerning package travel. I also delivered an analysis of the company wide sales process of Riksja Travel in order to improve efficiency.

Reporting to the MD Europe and responsible for developing & executing a profitable online (SEA, SEM, SEO, affiliates, merchandising, meta search) and offline (brand campaigns, travel agents, business development) strategy to expand Expedia's market position in Central Europe. Another key focus is coordinating several key growth projects for Brand Expedia within EMEA. Main projects: new customer acquisition, local relevancy of the website and optimising sales of newly acquired properties via the various marketing channels.

Responsibilities include:
• Developing and execution of Central Europe strategy within EMEA.
• Ownership of P&L.
• Setting and monitoring KPIs; ensuring performance vs plan.
