Rene Goertzen

Rene Goertzen is a San Francisco Bay Area-based software engineer who has recently completed the Foundations year program at Holberton School. In addition to being an active participant in volunteer events, Rene is a team player and self-starter. Technology has captivated her attention and technology's creation keeps her extremely enthralled. Rene views technology as the great equalizer for society and is of the belief that it provides the opportunity to people from many different backgrounds to make a positive impact on society. As of now, she's seen technology help her keep up with school studies during health issues, organize events, and save a community college. Rene has found a passion in engineering and enjoys creating a positive impact with her voice. She is part of a dedicated team at a company that shares her vision, who has inspired the consumers to be just as excited about using what they build.
