Renate pursued her higher education at various reputable institutions, earning a Master of Science (MSc) in Business Administration with a specialization in Change Management from the University of Groningen. She also completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Bedrijfskunde MER at Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen.

Throughout her career, Renate has held key positions in several organizations. Currently, she serves as the Manager of the Security & Privacy Office at Northwave. Intelligent Security Operations, demonstrating her expertise in managing security-related functions within the company.

Prior to her current role, Renate worked as a Business Security Consultant at Northwave, where she honed her skills in security operations. She also gained experience as a Jr. Cloud Engineer and an IT Risk & Security officer at NN, showcasing her versatility in the IT sector.

Renate's professional journey includes valuable experiences such as being a Teaching Assistant at the University of Groningen, where she shared her knowledge with students, and a MasterClass Professional at Calco, where she further developed her skill set.
