Rembrandt Curiosity is an accomplished musician and educator with a diverse background in music and arts.
After studying Filosofie en theologie as a contract student at Leiden University, Rembrandt pursued a Masters degree in Jazzpiano solist at Hogeschool van Beeldende Kunsten, Muziek en Dans Den Haag, where he also studied music at a masters level.
Throughout his career, Rembrandt has held various teaching positions in prestigious institutions. He has served as a guest teacher for Jazz piano at Hogeschool van Amsterdam and Conservatorium van Amsterdam. He has also been a Jazz piano teacher at Fontys Hogescholen and a guest teacher at several other music schools in the Netherlands.
In addition to his teaching roles, Rembrandt has a rich history of involvement in the music and arts scene. He has worked as a concert pianist at bimhuis, a composer at Buma/Stemra, an Artistic director at various jazz festivals and clubs, a Musical Director at RROOD, and a volunteer leader at children's camps. He has also founded and taught in a Jazz program at Cairo American College and engaged in volunteer work in Cairo.
