Trevor Whiting is a professional musician and composer hailing from London, UK. With over twenty years of experience, he has become a renowned figure in the international jazz scene. Whiting's extensive expertise has led to collaborations with world-class artists, including Wynton Marsalis and Quincy Jones. He is also a prolific composer, with various commissions and recordings under his belt.
Whiting began playing the saxophone at a young age and was immediately attracted to jazz music. In 1998, he graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he was awarded the Queen's Commendation for Excellence in recognition of his exceptional talent. He went on to perform and record with numerous groups and orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and the BBC Big Band.
In addition to his performance career, Whiting is also an active educator. He has taught saxophone and jazz improvisation at various institutions, including the Royal Academy of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
