Reid Gershbein

Reid Gershbein is a highly experienced software engineer and computer scientist, with a passion for building complex architectures and working with large datasets. He studied Computer Science at both Oberlin College and Princeton University, and completed a PhD Program with a focus on Computer Graphics at Stanford University. Reid has worked in various esteemed organizations and companies throughout his career, including DreamWorks Animation, Pixar Animation Studios, Unity Technologies, and Facebook. Most recently, he served as an Engineering Manager at ACV Auctions, a digital automotive marketplace.

Reid's specialties include multi-machine and multi-threaded architectures, large data set algorithms, computer graphics, rendering systems, and programming languages such as C and C++. He has held several key roles throughout his career and has been credited with leading successful research and development initiatives at many well-known companies. Reid is a motivated and curious individual who is always eager to take on new challenges and learn from his experiences.
