Rebecca James is a marketing and events manager with almost a decade of experience in producing and leading successful fundraising, marketing, and custom-designed events and programs in fast-paced environments. Her expertise lies in project management, marketing and communications, stakeholder relations, and fundraising. She is recognized for her interpersonal skills, leadership qualities, and positive attitude. Rebecca's educational background comprises a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Marketing from Capilano University and an Event and Conventions Management Diploma from Thompson Rivers University.

She held the position of Events Manager at the Vancouver Board of Trade, Fund Development Coordinator at the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation, and Special Events Assistant and Alumni Association at Thompson Rivers University. She has also worked as an Event Coordinator and Visitor Info Counsellor at Tourism Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows and currently serves as the Communications and Marketing Specialist at Southridge School.
