Holly O'Leary

Holly O'Leary is a seasoned fundraising and marketing professional with over 17 years of diverse work experience spanning three countries. She currently serves as the Development Officer, Foundations at Dalhousie University. Holly's expertise lies in volunteer and donor management, cultivation, moves management, stakeholder relations, research, project management, strategy development, event management, writing and content development, strategic planning, brand management, and client service. With her marketing background, Holly has a deep understanding of developing strategies and remaining focused on results. She is a creative and adaptive thinker who brings a human touch to her work in fundraising. Before relocating to Halifax in 2011, Holly worked for 11 years in Bermuda, within the offshore financial services sector, and spent two years in Taiwan as an English language instructor and writer. Holly earned a Master of Science degree in Professional & Technical Writing and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature.
