Rebecca Ferguson

Rebecca Ferguson is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the fields of public health, business administration, anthropology, and philanthropy.

She holds a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Sustainable Systems from Pinchot University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from Vassar College.

Rebecca currently serves as the Vice President of Philanthropy at Salesforce, where she leads strategic initiatives in the realm of philanthropy.

Prior to her current role, she held the position of Senior Director of Philanthropy at Salesforce.org, showcasing her dedication to making a positive impact through corporate giving.

With a rich history of involvement in philanthropic endeavors, Rebecca also played key roles at the prestigious Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Her contributions included serving as Deputy Director of Strategy, Planning, and Management, Senior Program Officer, Program Officer, and Associate Program Officer.

Before her tenure at the Gates Foundation, Rebecca honed her skills as a Fulbright Fellow and Consultant at UNESCO, further broadening her understanding of global issues in education and youth empowerment.

Her journey in the realm of public health and community well-being began with roles such as Fulbright Fellow in the Youth Incentives International Program at Rutgers Nisso Groep, Project Associate in Employer Health Partnerships at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, and Graduate Program Intern in the Prevention and Health Education Department at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina.
