Ray MacDonald is a seasoned IT leader with over 30 years of experience in various areas of IT, including project management, software development, e-commerce architecture, and enterprise and technology architecture. His talents range from relationship building to strategic planning and innovation, making him a versatile and valuable asset in managing the entire software development life-cycle. MacDonald studied computer technology, computer software engineering, and SCRUM & Agile methodologies, among other things, at reputable institutions such as Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and Agile Alliance.

Throughout his career, MacDonald has held several leadership positions, the most recent being Director of Software Development in AI at ATB Financial. Before that, he worked as Scrum Master and Project Manager at the same financial institution. Prior to that, he was Project Manager at FGL Sports Ltd and had similar roles at Shaw Communications and Ideaca. Additionally, MacDonald is a former owner of Reckage Limited, where he could apply his skills in a more entrepreneurial setting.
