Rasheed Hussain is an accomplished associate professor, director of Networks and Blockchain Lab, and director of the Institute of Information Security and Cyber-Physical Systems at Innopolis University in Russia. His vast experience includes serving as a postdoctoral research fellow at Hanyang University in South Korea and a guest researcher at the University of Amsterdam's System and Network Engineering group, where he contributed his expertise in information security, privacy, and vehicular ad hoc networks. Hussain also worked as an Assistant Professor at Innopolis University.

Hussain has an impressive educational background, having earned a B.Sc. in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, and an M.Sc. in Computer Engineering, with a perfect CGPA of 4.00/4.00, from Hanyang University. He has also received a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering and an M.S. in Computer Engineering from the same institution, where he focused on applied cryptography, VANET, and mobile social networks.

His research interests include cybersecurity, VANET-based clouds, Vehicular Social Networks (VSN), cloud computing, smart grid security, electric vehicles, IoT, Content-Centric Networks (CCN), and blockchain technologies for constrained environments.

Hussain is currently heading the Security and Network Engineering (SNE) Masters program, which has been declared the best Masters program in Computer Science in the Netherlands.
