Rahul Welde

Rahul Welde is a seasoned global business leader with over 30 years of experience, primarily at Unilever, where he held various senior roles. He began his career at Unilever in 1991 as a management trainee and rose through the ranks to become the Executive Vice President for Digital Transformation, leading global digital initiatives. His work included driving digital transformation across Unilever's brands and markets, fostering innovation in marketing and media, and spearheading organizational change.125

During his tenure, he served as Vice President for Media in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Turkey, and Russia, where he collaborated with high-performing teams to achieve significant milestones in marketing communications. He also played active roles in industry organizations such as the Mobile Marketing Association (as Chairman for Asia) and the World Federation of Advertisers (as Regional VP).25

After leaving Unilever in 2022, Welde transitioned to a portfolio career, taking on non-executive roles. He currently serves as a Non-Executive Director at Pantheon International Plc and is engaged with start-ups as an advisor and board member. Additionally, he is part of the advisory board for Migrant Leaders, contributing to social impact initiatives.346
